There’s a concerted effort by the Kenya Property Developers Association (KPDA) together with the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce & Industry to involve property managers and realtors in the ongoing affordable housing projects. The aim is to address long-standing issues including poor maintenance, tenant conflicts, waste management, and financial transparency in such estates. Over 60 property managers and realtors have already been engaged. The Affordable Housing Board will oversee ownership for the first nine years, ensuring upkeep and value appreciation.
